Tuition and Financial Aid

Discounts:

Multiple Child Discounts - WCS offers a multiple child discount, calculated on the total tuition for the specified student.  Pre-Kindergarten students are not eligible to receive discounts:

Pastoral Discounts - Children of ordained clergy members qualify for a pastoral tuition discount of 30%. Please consult with office personnel regarding this discount.

The annual, non-refundable registration fee is paid to help defray the costs of ordered consumable materials, educational supplies, and the processing of enrollment paperwork. The following registration schedule will be followed:

New Students - Regardless of the date of enrollment, new families receive our lowest registration fee, which equates to $125 per student or a family maximum of $300.

Returning Students - See below.

Technology/Art/Science Fee:

A non-refundable fee of $95 per student per year in grades 1 through 8 will be assessed for materials and curriculum that supplement our students' education. The fee will help cover our technology curriculum, a growing variety of art materials for student consumption, and hands-on materials to enable lab work in science classes. This fee is payable according to one of the following plans:

• Payment in full - Due one week before the first day of school.
• Payment Plan - FACTS Management Company may incorporate this fee into your tuition payment plan.

Tuition Payment Plans:

There are three options for paying tuition:

1. Full Tuition Payment - Payment is made directly to the school one week before the first day of school. No automatic withdrawals from a checking or savings account will be made.

2. FACTS Semester Payments - These two payments are due in August and January, payable on either the 5th or 20th day of each month. The FACTS enrollment fee for this option is $15. Insurance is available at an additional cost. Payments are made through automatic withdrawals from a checking or savings account. Application for this plan must be received by May 1st, 2009.

3. FACTS Monthly Payments - A maximum of ten monthly payments may be selected, payable on the 5th or 20th day of each month. The FACTS enrollment fee for this plan is $38. Insurance is available at an additional cost. The first payment is due in July. Payments are made through automatic withdrawals from a checking or savings account. Applications for this plan must be received no later than May 1, 2009.

Financial Aid (Scholarship):

Our need-based financial aid awards are based on an independent assessment by FACTS Management Company and Wooster Christian School administration. All financial aid applications for the new school year should be submitted by May 1, 2010. The completed application and a $20 fee should be mailed directly to FACTS or submitted online at http://www.factstuitionaid.com/. Any application filed after May 1 will be considered only if scholarship funds remain.
